Adventure dynamics an alternative for team building activities

Adventure dynamics can help out an organization to improve communication channels and motivation.

Adventure dynamics is a new theory in team building, which brings together all the benefits of outdoor activities with ideas taken from workplace psychology and communication techniques. These dynamics can help to create a share corporate vision, amalgamate a new team, revitalise an existing one, deal with conflict, amongst many other topics and situations.

Appreciative inquiry can make a change in the way people perceive the organization they belong to; it seeks out the best of "what is" to help ignite the collective imagination of "what might be". This said, organizations can become living organisms founded upon the dreams and hopes of its people.

Team dynamics are based on transactional analysis, a modern theory of psychology developed by Eric Berne, where participants use ideas in real situations to reach a final destination. Communication plays an important role and so collaborative thinking and initiative, when completing the tasks.

From these exercises, teams are able to understand how communication and thinking can work to drive to failure or success. These activities can also help to modify the team behavior potential, gaining skills and understanding that the workplace communication and the internal relationships can be transformed.

All of our team building events and programmes are centred in and around the fantastic setting of Eastnor Castle Estate and benefit from the wide variety of terrain and natural landscapes.

The team building activities, challenges and puzzles are purpose built permanent structures and have been constructed to a very high standard. They are authentic and are complementary to their natural surroundings.

Sorry!, but we don’t use plastic crates or imaginary rivers – we provide authenticity and the real thing!

All of our team building activities can be enhanced by integrating the ‘Miro’ behavioural mode assessment, a psychometric test that can then be used to shape and direct team performance, output and cohesion..
