Taylor Swift and Joe Jonas used to be the hot new couple on the entertainment scene, but this isn't the case any longer. Jonas is currently dating Camilla Belle (and has been for several months), but that certainly hasn't stopped the dark-haired teen heartthrob from bringing up the past. Fans will note that Jonas took a swipe at his ex-girlfriend in the song "Much Better." The lyrics read: "And all the tears on her guitar/I'm not bitter. But now I see/Everything I'd ever need/Is the girl in front of me/She's much better." The allusion to "Teardrops on My Guitar," a popular Swift ballad, is strikingly apparent.

Joe Jonas did not leave things there, however. At recent Jonas Brothers concert, he changed the lyrics to "Much Better," and instead of saying, "Now I'm done with superstars," he sang, "Now I'm done with country stars." Clearly Joe Jonas still has some beef with his former gal. The question is: what does Camilla think of all this? No word yet from Taylor Swift. Perhaps she will have some words of her own towards Joe Jonas at one of her upcoming concerts. Get your own pair of Taylor Swift tickets online.

Taylor Swift wasted no time in becoming one of country-pop's biggest stars. At the young age of 16, she released her debut single "Tim McGraw," in 2006. The song carried Swift to the top of the charts and gained her a notable following of fans. Her self-titled debut album appeared that same year and further advanced her career in the music industry. What perhaps stands out the most on this record is Taylor's powerful voice. She brings a fresh new sound to the music world, while also exhibiting qualities of maturity.

Also notable is the fact that Swift wrote or co-wrote all of the tracks on the album, further establishing her skills as not only a singer, but also a songwriter. The runaway hit "Tim McGraw" is featured on the song set, as well as the other hot singles: "The Outside" and the stirring acoustic ballad, "Mary's Song (Oh My My My)." For her first record, Swift received the praise of critics and the admiration of fans. She even received a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist, although lost the title to the soulful Amy Winehouse.

Taylor Swift's sophomore album arrived two years later in 2008. Called Fearless, it portrayed her music with thoughtful, well-crafted tunes, leaving behind teeny pop sounds and instead focusing on Swift's growth not only as a musician but as a young woman. Some notable tracks that gained attention on radio stations around the country included: "Fearless," "Fifteen" and "Hey Stephen." It quickly became one of the most successful mainstream pop albums of the year and propelled Swift into superstar territory...or as Joe Jonas might say "country star" territory.

Taylor Swift though has been drifted more towards the sound of pop than of country, so before Joe Jonas makes any other remarks about his ex-girlfriend, he might want to get his facts straight.
