Wii Fit was a great intro into exercise for many people. Now Wii Fit Plus has more added features making fitness fun and entertaining.
Wii was found to help younger kids burn calories and now, Wii Fit Plus is targeted toward the older kids and adults that need to get a start to their fitness routine. Made by Nintendo in Japan with games like tennis, baseball, golf, and more. These weren't the basic "pong" games where you sit in a chair and move your wrist but these games require you to stand up and move around. Not only are they physical but they are mental as well because one must still use a good skill of strategy and technique. In tennis for example, a spin can be put on a ball by the way you move your wrist and body and thus tricking the opponent. These games have been at an all time hit with the younger kids but now, Wii Fit Plus draws the older crowd and has hit one of the most popular games of the season.
Wii Fit was good but Wii Fit Plus is better. Released right before Thanksgiving was Nintendo's intention. It laid out an entire menu, complete with calories and what it would take to burn off those calories. It contains a database of most of the foods we eat and helps determine what games need to be played and how long in order to burn off those calories.
This new fitness "game" can calculate your BMI, your ideal weight, and exercise routine. It seems to make it fun and enjoyable with such games as the "Turkey Burn" or "Bird's Eye Bull's Eye, Hula Hoop and Rhythm Boxing". This helps take the eyes off of the work out issues and makes the fun predominant.
Grouped in separate challenges is the Island Cycling, Driving Range, Ski Slalom, Penguin Slide, Snowball Fight, Ski Jump and more. Some slower paced challenges include Rhythm Boxing, Rhythm Parade, and Kung-Fu.
Wii Fit Plus is slower paced as compared to some of the aggressive games Wii provides and the Wii and Wii Fit all work together. In fact, it can come with or without the Balance Board if you already have it.
Wii Fit Plus is an excellent choice for your exercise routine and your games. It may just be the hottest gift item available this year!
