Acn Success Is It Possible?

American Communications Network (ACN) is a US based company that gets a lot of attention within the United States, but is virtually unknown outside of its area of operations. Within the States, the company generates a lot of fierce discussion. There are many who tout the ACN success record, while there are many others who are very vocally against it.

ACN is a commission based work-at-home (WAH) business opportunity. The product being sold is telecommunications. Everybody uses the phone and internet, so your sales potential should be virtually unlimited. As a representative, you have the opportunity to make money from your own sales as well as the sales of those who you'recruit as fellow sales reps.

Like any MLM (multi-level marketing) enterprise, the higher you are on the list of sales representatives, the more money you can theoretically make. You are selling communications services. The company started out selling local and long distance phone calls, but has now expanded into the wireless phone network, satellite television and VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol).

That is quite a lineup of services. Not only that, but people of the stature of Donald Trump have given ACN their endorsements. Nonetheless, they continue to have to work against a tide of skepticism. Surely if any home-based business is going to work, it would have to be one that sold something that everybody wants and needs. Even a tiny percent of a percent of the telecommunications could be yours each month, you would be making quite a bit of money!

Even so, there is more negative publicity about the company on the internet than there is positive. The critics claim that their commission rate is so small that it is virtually impossible to recoup your initial $499 investment. They claim that recruiting enough people to join your network of representatives requires going far beyond your friends, co-workers and neighbors, because the attrition rate is so high. The majority of those people who invest in ACN drop out. They will not be generating passive residual income for you. You will have to continually recruit just to keep your head above water.

It'sounds like what they are saying is that you will have to work hard to become an ACN success story. You will have to think outside the box in order to get the results you need. Looked at it a different light, the failure of others can be the key to finding your own road to success.

That promise of easy money lures people who don't have any. When they are trying to convince you that you can make money before they've made any themselves, are you going to be convinced? Are you going to believe that it's easy money when you see them out there every day virtually pleading all their friends and co-workers to buy what they have to sell? That's what they do, though, and that's why most of them fail.

That is no reason to write of ACN success as impossible, though. Most start-up businesses of any description fail. What about the small percentage who do succeed? How do they do it? They do it by putting in the effort and never giving up. Perhaps Donald Trump gave ACN his thumbs-up because he saw real opportunity in it for those who put the same kind of effort into this business as he did into his. In the end, that's the secret to success.
