Everyone says that beauty is different for different people, and it depends mainly on how people perceive it. However, there is little doubt to the importance people tend to attach with beauty. An important aspect of beauty in our society is concerned with the way we dress up.

The desire to appear beautiful is in almost everyone. It is only a natural feeling and need. Looking beautiful is an art that can be mastered. The true beauty is the one that comes from the inside. However, it could be enhanced by the way we choose to dress.

God has made your body in a specific manner, and you can do little to change it. Of course, there are people who go through painful cosmetic surgeries or take up very strict diets and exercising routines. But, it is a whole lot better and practical to accept what you have rather than trying to change it artificially, as most of these attempts end up futile.

The figure of each of us in this world is different. We can try to maintain or make the best use of what we have. But, there is not much that can be done to alter it. We need to understand that people come in this world in all sorts of shapes. This shape is a result of our genetics and the hormonal changes that we go through.

Similarly, everyone has a different body with different areas where fats are stored. Some people are born with some parts of the body heavier than the other. Some have heavy hips and thighs; some have heavy breasts, while others have bulging bellies.

However, it does not mean that you are flawed, it is your body and you should accept this fact. There is one thing that you can do and that is to carry yourself well. Once you feel pride in the way you look, you would be comfortable with it and would definitely have more confidence in yourself.

You should take out time to study your figure and then decide on the clothes that will suit it well. There is a different dress style for each body type. Those body parts of yours that do not flatter you, should not be underscored and the parts of your body that complement you should be highlighted.

You should identify those parts of your body that flatter you. It is important to remember that weight loss through dieting can only get you little far in looking good. You may think that you would get rid of those fat thighs or stomach through dieting, but the truth is that dieting reduces weight equally from the entire body and not just from one place.

If your figure is fuller in the areas of hips and thighs, and you are not fuller in the upper limbs, you should wear dresses that accentuate your upper limbs and hide your heavy areas. Such women should wear a bit long and lengthy tops and the colours should be such that they keep the eyes to your upper portion. Wear A-line dresses, avoid miniskirts, and use longer skirts with A-line shape. Wear low rise but wide legged pants.

There are women with a fuller waist, stomach and chest. Like the women of the previous category, they should go for dresses that avoid attention to these parts with the use of tops with V-necklines, and wearing miniskirts and high rise pants. They will be able to look fabulous only if they draw attention away from their waist. The use of these basic suggestions can do wonders to their dress sense and their personality.
