Chest enhancement surgery is the most common surgery procedure performed almost in every corner of the world. Many woman would want a larger chest. So even if it requires surgery, they would opt for it willingly not even considering the risks much at all. So, if you or any of your friends happen to be one of those seeking this surgery, ensure that you understand the risks involved before going under the knife.

Implant Rotation Implant rotation can happen because when the breast is implanted it is not fixed or attached. If it does occur it requires corrective surgery because it can look very unsightly. Fortunately due to scientific configuration of the implants, its more of a rare occurrence now than it was only a few years ago.

Capsular contraction is yet another complication that a woman may have to face, which is generally related to saline implants and those not filled up to the capacity. When this condition occurs, the implant is surrounded with collagen fibers due to the implant's rejection and therefore, attempted encapsulation. This may even cause pain and to remove the implant is the only answer to this problem.

Implant rupture and leakage is the most notorious complication which you can face if you have gone for implants. Silicone gel implants were banned in the United States for fourteen years because the FDA wanted to make sure that the silicone gel was not harmful to the human body. Chest implants have improved a lot in design and even its functions have improved dramatically over years, but the possibility of implant rupture and leakage of the implants is still present. Implant rupture can be corrected by replacing the implant altogether.

Lastly, there may occur wrinkling or rippling. This condition leads to bunching of the outer shell like crinkled plastic. What is worse is that the skin of the chest tissue bunches in the process of wrinkling or rippling. This will cause so much trouble and a its unsightly. So, like every other problem the only solution is corrective surgery.
