Save Yourself! 5 Daily Practices That Will Save Your Life

I was searching the internet and came across a story about the death of Captain Phil Harris from the TV show "Deadliest Catch". I have been an avid fan of the show since it started several years ago. When I saw the headline that he had died I began thinking to myself, "what good is all that money if you abuse yourself and can't enjoy it?" The same thing can be applied to your MLM success. At the end of the day, a billion dollars doesn't matter if you don't have your health.

It was with that in mind that I came up with these 5 ways to save yourself from the same fate.

First of all, exercise must become a part of your daily routine. It only takes 30-40 minutes per day to make a huge difference in health. You are probably thinking you don't have time as it is. I listen to my self improvement courses while working out everyday so I can knock two things out at once.

The second habit that you need to get in is to be concerned with your diet. You can work out all you want and it won't help if your diet consists of sodas and pizza. No amount of exercise can offset years of the wrong diet.

Next, be sure to take time for yourself everyday. You can take 10-15 minutes and clear your mind and meditate. One thing I like to do if have a daily affirmation meditation in the mornings and it always helps me get started on the right track.

A good laugh is one of the most overlooked things people can do to relieve stress. Take time out a few times a day and read some good stories or comics that will make you laugh. You will be amazed at the change in attitude a couple of good laughs can provide.

The last thing you must do in order to enjoy your life and success is to monitor your alcohol and tobacco usage. I am as guilty as the next for drinking a few to many beers a week, but I am beginning to realize that lifestyle habit hinders my ability to be at my best all the time. The same thing goes for smoking. You may not think it now, but cutting back and quitting can significantly increase your long term health and day to day attitude.

Believe me when I tell you that I am not trying to be Brother Eric here with this article. After watching a guy basically shorten his life in front of my eyes the last several years, I just felt like I needed to say something about it. Forget finding MLM success if you can't do it in a healthy way. All that will happen is you end up with a bunch of money before you die early if you don't pay attention to your body and mind.
