Things just keep getting better and better for smartphones users. Recently this was evidenced by the mobile media company, Mspot who are now able to stream full length movies to mobile phones. The devices able to receive this remarkable data are iPhone, Blackberry Cell Phones and Cell Phones using the Google Android technology.

The company Mspot has struck deals with Paramount Studios, the Weinstein Company and Universal Pictures to release some of their films to handsets. Currently Mspot has over 500 films available at their website including new releases. Mspot is in talks with other big name studios in hope to bring more films to more cell phones nationwide. The technology currently works with over 30 phone makes and can be used with any of the national carriers available. The movies cost $5 dollars and can be watch in a time frame between 24 hours to five days after they are rented. In addition movie club memberships are also available.

This is truly amazing stuff and it is just another reason that cell phones are all becoming smartphones and that each and every maker of cell phones is making a push in that market. The days of the basic handset are over much like the days of the landline as the common phone are over, except in businesses of course. It is all very interesting though. The mobile device is becoming more and more capable of doing anything the user wants. Games, television, movies, music, cameras, it's all available, in one device, in the users pocket.

And with innovative companies like Mspot making more applications and features possible while the cell phone makers themselves continue to get more creative it seems as though the customer will be winning for years to come. There is also so much healthy competition in the market that the customers can pick and choose what they like while companies fight over their service by giving incredible deals and rates.

This innovation is likely just the tip of the iceberg, too. It is very likely that more innovative stuff is on the way by BlackBerry Cell Phones. While the future of hover crafts and flying cars has yet to come into existence who could have thought full length feature films would be in our pockets as soon as 2009 and 2010. Yes, the way things are going it seems that technology will be more and more mobile and stronger than ever before, too.
