But generally "free" websites are not what they seem to be. They may be free in the sense that you can freely click on to its website, but then you find out it has a hidden price instead of telling upfront what they charge. And "free" criminal checks websites are often not very thorough; they only give you certain info just to lead you on, then you have pay to find out the rest. Its like you're going in circles, on a 'wild goose chase'.

It's better to pay for a criminal check websites; at least they're honest enough to tell you how much it costs and what you're getting. Besides, you'll get your money's worth, you'll be able to do the thorough investigation you need. And you can protect yourself-and those you love.
