Francis Francis X1 - The Best Espresso Machine Out There

I have recently purchased Francis Francis Machine. This espresso machine is the best way to make true Italian espresso. It does many things very well, and I have yet to discover any shortfalls. It is clearly a cut above others. This is the first espresso machine I bought, had it for about six months now. And so far, I really could not be happier with it for what it is. It is a great looking, reasonably priced machine to make espresso. Here a few of the major reasons why I really enjoy it:

1. I'm still learning, but I think we get pretty good tasting coffee from this. The pods are nice, and the trio of setting is pretty interesting. I have found that the lungo setting works pretty well if you do not want to being using 2 pods for each drink.

2. The physical construction is quite nice. It's completely metal except for the reservoir, the (generously deep) drip tray and the portafilter handle. This is just a good looking machine, very attractive on your kitchen counter. It has a fairly small footprint, so it does not take up too much space.

3. This is really considered an entry-level / beginner espresso machine. This machine uses a pressurized portafilter, which basically means it is much more forgiving to novice mistakes (coffee grind for instance).

4. The machine is sturdy and solid, and it cost-effectively delivers excellent coffee every single day. Prime your machine before and after making espresso to keep it clean inside and keep it working properly.

5. It's smaller than most machines, at just a little stockier than your average drip coffee pot. The steam wand - even given it was my first time using a machine, I can say that it is a bit awkwardly placed and hard to use at first. After some practice, I really have not had any issues with it, and I'm able to get some decent foam.

6. This is a great little espresso machine. The espresso pods are easy to work with produce a great espresso with excellent crema. This machine does the job plus it looks fantastic. Very happy with this purchase.

I'm pleased with my purchase. With the Francis Francis Machines the price is right, so if you're looking for a espresso machine with all of the latest features and compatibility, this is a solid pick. It is a phenomenal machine; it does exactly what it says it does and does it in a very simple friendly way. The price is so much less than other units; it is embarrassing to compare.
