Caring for ones hair is a process that is as old as humans themselves. Indeed when seeing someone for the first time, men or women, one of the first things that you will notice about the person's appearance is their hair or the lack of it. This is a perfectly natural human tendency that crosses all cultural barriers. This is especially true when meeting women. Comments such as "she was beautiful but only if her hair was nice" is not uncommon.
This is perhaps why so much attention is given to hair care. The amount of time and money that people spend on hair maintenance is truly mind boggling. There is a product available for every type of hair problem, short of balding. Different types of shampoo's hair gels, waxes, the list is endless.
One of the things that make hair attractive is the shape or structure of the hair. As we know there is many different types of hair, but the three basic types are, straight, curly and wavy hair. Out of these straight hair and wavy can get damaged and end up with split ends. But today there are many different types of hair tools and these problems are a thing of the past.
There are so many different ways to make ones hair look good nowadays, starting with scalp care shampoo to creams, wax, hair gel etc. These products generally have some sort of side effect and they are time consuming to use. They can be used to make ones hair take almost any shape and structure.
In the late 1800's a revolutionary new tool known as the curling iron was invented. This was the early predecessor of the flat iron as we know today. But in 1912 a two plated hinged flat iron was invented for the purpose of styling hair. Today there are different styles of flat irons available and even a cordless rechargeable flat irons to make styling hair even easier..
