Congratulations! You are going to become a father.

How delighted you felt, when the doctor broke that news you longed for upon completion of your first wedding anniversary or couple of years/months. Pregnancy is a strange yet exciting journey in a womans life, and the same holds true for you. The pure joy in acknowledging that God has blessed both of you with a capacity to create life is overwhelming. However, chill runs down your spine, when you think of your womans fragile health, temperament swings, nausea, and the labour pains that she will endure on delivering your joint partnership. Remember, nothing can be more soothing and encouraging for your pregnant wife than your support and presence. Even though you are limited in you approach to ease her physical anxiety, yet your willingness to share her discomfort will enable her to experience this journey on more satisfying and encouraging grounds. You will build a stronger and rewarding marital bond, through your loving, thoughtful and caring support. We have made a sincere effort in gathering knowledge for expecting fathers on how they can share the joys of pregnancy with their wives.

Efforts required by expecting dads to experience a happy pregnancy:

Pregnancy brings physical discomfort and anxiety. Your wife will often experience nausea and vomiting, backache, swollen feet and ankles, insomnia and heartburn. These nine months she will bite off your ears with her incessant complaints. Lend your ears to hear her woes and de stress her through your jokes or perhaps treat her to a home cooked meal by you, or simply give her a good massage rub her back, nape, feet and ankles as these are the most stressed muscles of the body. The often you make her happy, the better your baby will grow inside her womb.

Any kind of stress can trigger complications. Hence, ensure your pregnant wife doesnt engage in strenuous chores or activity. Give her a helping hand as often as you can. Share the household chores and other outdoor/indoor activities with her. It will kill two birds with one stone not only her body will feel less stressed, but she will acknowledge and reciprocate your loving gesture.

Hormones are at their peak during pregnancy, and its more likely that your wife will feel down and low with the stretch marks, under eye circle and skin related woes. Flatter her with your loving compliments for that happy glow. It will add to her motherly beauty.

Upon completing the first trimester, most women feel more energetic and buoyant. Spend quality time with her. Take her shopping for your new arrival. Escort her to her gynecologists appointment. Treat her to good music, food and wine, remember shes nurturing a part of you as well in her womb and its your responsibility to keep your family delighted.

For a perfect father child relationship its important to form a bond, while youre baby is developing in the womb. Interact with your baby as often as you can, from the beginning until the end of the laborious nine months. In addition, youre wife will feel elated, upon acknowledging that you are equally going to be a responsible, loving and doting father as you have been a husband.

Pregnancy makes women more susceptible to emotions and they often have mood swings. Do not panic, nor criticize her. Be loving, thoughtful and patient. Remember, a happy mother will deliver a healthy baby.
