Everyone has seen ads or sites proclaiming they have the greatest turn-key system or an automated online recruiting system. There are so many things out there that claim to be an easy and fast way to build your business. If it really worked, who wouldn't want a business that was that simple?

When I hear the line "No selling or recruiting required-we build your down line for you" it makes me suspicious right off the bat because if it were that easy, everyone would be driving a BMW. My first thought upon seeing this is to run the other way.

This type of promotions are for the very lazy or gullible people out there who want or believe they can get something for nothing. You cannot get something for nothing and if you work for something it is always worth more in the end. But a lot of people fall for these lines because they think there is a way to make money that is fast, easy,cheap, and risk free.

That is why there are claims out there that say "You just need to join today and secure your position. There are hundreds of people waiting to be placed in your down line. Our new amazing magic system will build your down line automatically. With no selling or recruiting you can be making thousands weekly this month."

But think about that for a minute. No business is going to be successful if there is no selling because that is where the money comes from. If there is no recruiting, how will your business grow? Why would they need you if it were that easy? They are after your network of friends but they do not want to tell you that up front because they would rather rely on second rate sales methods than try real marketing.

They tell you to sign up and pay your membership dues and that is all you need to do. If this were true why wouldn't they just start several sites of their own with all of the money they claim to have earned. The reason they don't do that is because it will take more work than they are telling about.

Network marketing is a very unique industry. You can start your own business and work it from home. Now with the Internet all you need is a computer and you have the chance to start a home based business with a real chance of success.

The average person can build a successful work at home business with an investment of money that is almost nothing compared to a traditional or brick and mortar business. 50 years ago there were no opportunities like this. You either had to start a traditional business or work for someone else.

Now you can choose almost any type of product and from thousands of companies and start a business quickly. But there are many people failing at this because of one little thing. They fail to get proper marketing training mainly because there are so many B.S. sites out there and some people think if they failed at one company they just need to find the right company.

At some point, in business, a product or service must be sold to a consumer. Only an idiot would believe you can make thousands weekly in any business with "no selling required." If you are in network marketing you are a salesperson and you have two things to sell; products or services and a business model.

The instant gratification society we live in and the speed of our modern technology does make a lot of people think there would be an easy fully automated system out there that will make you insanely rich in a short time.

It is true that there are services and products out there that make it easier to build a successful business but it still takes people to work those systems and it takes leaders to get people to join. Everyone wants a leader to join with so they will be able to learn how to build a successful home based business.

There are some automated systems that are crucial to your business success but no system will do everything with nobody in control. There are really two things needed for an online business. Some automated systems and a real person to manage the system and the team members. You need personal interaction and mentoring to build a successful network marketing business.

Distributors always will hit rough patches in their businesses and that is when they need to rely on their sponsors for support and resources to keep their momentum going. You use automated systems to generate leads and qualify people but it will be up to you to implement these systems and help your teams members succeed and develop leaders.

Those get rich quick plans out there are really for fooling the gullible and to keep from wasting your time you should be honest about the amount of work it takes to produce an income using your system. If you are running your business right you will be able to share what works for you with your team members.

This business is all about how many people you can help to find success and the more people you can help the more success you will have so you would be way ahead of the game if you let them know up front the amount of work it really takes to make it in this industry. There are people who are looking for an opportunity that do not mind working for their money.

In network marketing as in any business your most important skills are your ability sell and deliver you products and opportunity. You can do this most efficiently by developing a system that generates targeted leads and automatically qualifies and builds a relationship with them by offering helpful resources and solutions to their problems.
