Beauty is supposed to be in the eye of the beholder, but you must be careful about your ideas when designing a website. Your website should definitely contained your ideas while being able to be attractive to your customers at the same time.

As a website designer, there is a certain responsibility that you must accept. Many customers have there own ideas as to what kind of website look that they are seeking. Your job as a professional web designer is to be able to take their ideas and give them sound advice to avoid creating an irritating website.

Some of you may not be sure what I am talking about when I refer to irritating, so I have compile a list to explain further.

Annoying Pop Ups:

Many people say that pop ups have actually increase their sales, but I cant imagine how when everyone I know hates them. Pop ups are especially annoying when you are in a hurry.

Loud Flash Presentations:

Loud flash introductions is a feature that I really do not like to use, they can be a great tool for capturing your visitors attention, and at the same time be very irritating with the loud music. This is especially true for the flash intros that do not give the option of skipping the presentation.

Light Colored Fonts With A Similar Background:

Using a white text on a light background is definitely extremely annoying. You should not have to squint in order to read the content of a website.

Fonts That Are Too Big:

Fonts that are too large may work well for the creator of the website, but for most of us, it looks sort of like a preschool book.

To Much Info On One Page:

Good content on a website is encouraged by many as well as the search engines. The problem with having too much content is when it is unorganized. A good way to solve this issue is by using drop down menus with multiple pages.

Creating quality web designs takes a lot of consideration. You must take into account what your targeted visitors may or may not like. In the end, the best designed websites are the ones that are moderate and incorporate everyone.
