Prophecies And Predictions For Year 2012: Things You Should Know

There are many people who are stressing a little bit about all of the 2012 predictions. The closer we get to the year it is supposed to happen the more panicked that something catastrophic will happen. We will not know until December 21, 2012 when the Mayan calendar ends. If we celebrate the New Year in 2013 I guess we will all have egg on our face like 1999.

This theory for end of the world predictions are based on the Mayan calendar that ends on that date. This assumption is made because of their accuracy in other calendar predictions and statistics. Therefore it is believed that this will be the last day the earth exists as we know it.

Some say that this is the date that the bible talks about. They state that Jesus Christ will return on a white horse with a sword in His hand and the rapture will begin. As the bible states it does not say when the time will be. These are all educated guesses.

Others in different spiritual consciousness who do not follow the bible believe that it will be just an age of spiritual consciousness. It is based on their belief of the planet's aligning. Whatever the belief it has invoked a sense of fear in many and quite a few movies that relate to this theory.

Many survival groups are emerging to meet the needs of those who are concerned about the issues of the end of the world. They are open to having members join them and want to teach people how to survive any event that may occur. They claim to teach their members how to survive and what to do to be prepared for the event that they believe will occur.

Whatever the 2012 predictions is it is a good time to remember that none of us know when the end, or our end, is going to happen. The lesson to be learned is to attempt to live each day like it is your last. You cannot live in fear but you can control how you treat others while you are still here.
