How that management runs the company decides the overall outcome of the company including productivity and other such processes. The ISO 9001 training is designed to organize that very section of any company or industry so as to increase all aspects of a company's overall efficiency.
The ISO 9000 block was created by the use of the PDCA method. PDCA stands for plan-do-check-act, meaning that any company action is planned, performed, checked against other actions, and implemented along side them in a "leap-frog" fashion. Eventually, the use of the PDCA and the chain it creates will weed out those methods until a more structured and efficient chain is developed.
In the end, a company will see a more singular driven goal that is met by a series of well defined procedures and practices. The majority of these are geared towards overall customer satisfaction as well as increased production. On top of that, they help to reduce risks in production as well as inspection and research and development costs.
Before any of this can fall into place, the company and it's management team must go through a series of training courses. These courses follow a list of principals that include involving the people, continual improvement, focusing on the customer, and general leadership as well as several others. Typically, these courses are taught over several days.
While ISO 9001 training is designed for management, it's important that all facets of management are involved. Depending on how extensive that is (or how big the company is) it can be an expensive course to take. Of course, the general idea is that a company will benefit beyond what they lose. However, there's no guarantee of that, and for a price as high as this, it would behoove any company interested in this style of training to inspect it for themselves.
