Fear has a positive intent for your life. It's trying to reach its potential and it just doesn't know how to get there. Let's help fear out by understanding fear better. Thoughts lead to feelings, lead to actions, lead to results. Fear is a thought that leads to a feeling in your body. (in your heart, solar plexus, head, throat-these are common places). There is always an image associated with fear in a persons mind.
What is that image? Once you discover the image that appears in your mind, you are now in a position to bring fear to its full potential. For example, let's assume your fear is the shape of a black box. The fact that you have given fear a form, you can now communicate with it. Think about how powerful this is for a second. Before you did this, fear was running your life in so many unconscious ways that you probably weren't even aware of it. You couldn't locate fear, it was just there. Running your life, controlling your power. It was an invisible force and it was probably one of the most powerful forces in your life at times.
Since fear has a form now, you can communicate with it. Do you think I'm crazy, by saying this? It's ok if you do, but this is a real scientific process I am sharing with you. There's a simple question I want you to ask the Fear. The question is this: "What do you want?" You continue to ask the fear this question until you discover the positive potential of the fear. Here are some common responses: love, safety, happiness, joy, etc. You will get short and simple answers. The answers will not be complicated.
The key now is to imagine a new image that encompasses the answer you just received. The new image is a representation of what the old image told you it wants. So if the old image wants safety, then you construct a new mental image of safety. A new image of safety could be an image of you totally taken care of. At this point you introduce the old image with the new image of you being taken care of (safety). When you introduce the old image to the new image, you will watch the new image absorb the old image and the transformation is complete. The fear in your body will dissipate, because the mental image of fear has transformed. I hope this was helpful, the process is as complete as it can be at this point.
