San Diego has been attracting tourists for many years due to its great weather, clean beaches, and lively nightlife. If you plan on spending your vacation in San Diego, there is a much better way to experience the city than staying in a hotel room. California beach vacation rentals are a far more rewarding alternative to hotel occupancy. Instead of being holed away in a room for your vacation, you and your family can have the experience of living in a southern California beach home for as long or short as you want. Imagine, instead of spending the day at the beach and having to return to a hotel room, you can just walk a few feet away to your beach front vacation property, where you will be soothed to sleep by the sound of the ocean waves. For many landlocked Americans, this sounds like a dream, but various San Diego real estate management companies can make it a reality.

First, you should decide what type of atmosphere you are looking for in your beach vacation. If you have children, Mission Beach would be a good choice for family friendly entertainment. It is home to the famed SeaWorld, which is one of San Diego’s biggest attractions, as well as a lively boardwalk and the historic Belmont Park amusement park. If you have no children, you might favor a Pacific Beach vacation rental. Pacific Beach is renowned for its night life, with many bars, night clubs, restaurants, and breweries.

If you are into the night life, you might also want to check out Solana Beach, which is well known for its live music venues, including the Belly Up Tavern. Solana Beach and La Jolla also offer plenty of great shopping opportunities, with La Jolla being particularly notable for its upscale shopping and fancy dining. If you have money to throw around, you will not want to miss out on the Del Mar horse races, which run (no pun intended) during the late summer months. Mission Beach, La Jolla, and Pacific Beach are all close to downtown San Diego with Solana Beach and Del Mar being a mere 25 minute drive north.
