A Day With Kip Herriage, Wmi Ceo

I was fortunate enough recently to spend a day with Kip Herriage, co-founder of Wealth Masters and the man behind the financial advice that has helped so many people create a real financial future for themselves.

So who is the man behind all of that wealth? He is one of the most hard-working people I have ever met. Kip may have left Wall Street to pursue more balance between his work and his life, but I will tell you this – when he is in the office he works very hard, all day, to make sure that the investment advice he's giving to WMI members is sound and will give them good results.

The other thing that was obvious was the way that Kip genuinely cares about people. Throughout the day he stopped what he was doing whenever a staffer came to him with a question. He didn't hesitate to dig in and help his staff get work done. And he did all of that while willingly taking time to answer the questions that I had gone to speak with him about. I've worked for a few company presidents and CEOs, and I can tell you that I've never seen the kind of patience and dedication to others that Kip shows everyone who comes to his office.

One thing that really struck me about Kip, though, was the way he makes decisions. American lore is filled with stories about “Men Who Get Things Done.” In almost all of these stories, the men involved never really have to think anything through. They just “know” in their gut that their choices are right. And because these stories are all fiction – well, of course the hero is right.

But real life doesn't work like that. Modern life may be squeezing us into working, thinking, and deciding faster than is actually good for us. Why do I think so? Because I spent a day watching Kip Herriage make decisions.

He doesn't hesitate to say “Let me get back to you on that,” when someone asks him to decide something. More than that, though, I was amazed when Kip explained to me the process he uses to decide which stocks to recommend. He would rather miss a few opportunities because he takes the time to think everything through than give wrong advice to the people who are depending on him. To my mind, that dedication shows character.

Finally, I was also amazed by the wealth of knowledge that Kip Herriage has about managing and growing wealth. You could sit in his office taking notes and you'd have a dictionary's worth of solid financial planning knowledge written down in little more than a week. No wonder the Wealth Masters program has three segments – if they packed all of this into M1 alone, people would freak.

I'll admit I had some doubts when I first decided to get involved with Wealth Masters. The idea of being able to become my own boss just by managing my money correctly – well, that seemed like a pipe dream. What I've found is the opposite. Today I'm well on my way to the life of my dreams, and it's all because men like Kip Herriage care enough to create their own success by helping people like you and me.
