Cool Places To Go To In San Antonio

If you want to have a ton of unbridled fun, then San Antonio is the city for you! In fact, some people say its almost a Las Vegas kind of experience. SA is in fact the center of all fun in Texas, and people travel from all over to experience what it has to offer.

I am not just referring to the best nightlife in the world, or the biggest theme parks, zoos and sea-worlds in the country. I'm also talking about the fine cuisine, shopping and festivals that will blow your mind with diversity and uniqueness.

If anything is synonymous with San Antonio, then it has to be the Alamo. This historical site is a monument to American resistance and specifically Texan striving for freedom. At this historical locale, a small amount of Texans managed to successfully slow down a huge impending Mexican army trying to march in on Texas and take it over. Even if you're not that much into history, I think you'll still enjoy visiting it, so do give it a try.

Once you're done immersing yourself in history, your next step, in my mind, should be the river-walk. You can come here and first take a big walk from start to end, and get to know the place, or just pay one of the water-cabs to give you a ride along the whole thing. Either way, you'll get to see all of it first. Then, you can go ahead and sit down at whatever cafe caught your glances during your stroll or ride. You could maybe sit down and enjoy some of the cuisine in one of the many restaurants, or do some shopping in the stores. And when all of that is done, and the night comes, get ready for some exciting nightlife and amazing clubs and bars.

The experience here is so good, its not uncommon to see groups of people coming here out of state to enjoy the experience. The nightlife here, can only be said to be outmatched by something like Las Vegas. Otherwise, you're bound to enjoy this completely in all its glory. The best part about the river-walk night life? You're walking distance away from the best hotels in town! So you can just saunter back to your hotel room after a fun night out.
