The even better part, is that right next to it, are situated a whole bunch of different clubs, bars, restaurants and even a few museums. If you're into entertainment, and you like being around people, then this is the place for you. If however you'd like to feel you're in a more "secluded location" and you don't mind the travel, you can pick hotels that are away from the river-walk.

But yes, its also true, that not everyone likes being close to "the action". The city center, actually, though full at day, unlike the river-walk is extremely quiet and serene at night. This location is better for you, if you want to feel like you're away from "everything".
