When visiting Vegas, there are tons of Las Vegas attractions to see besides the slot machines! Over the years, Las Vegas has become a cultural Mecca for theatre, arts, comedy and much more. You can see superstar singers perform such as Celine Dion, Cher, Billy Joel and many others on any given night. Off Broadway shows including The Lion King and Chicago perform nightly, and other specialty shows like Cirque de Soleil and Blue Man Group perform nightly. Comedy festivals take place in Vegas throughout the year as well as art shows – from the high-end to the local.

One Las Vegas attraction that almost all visitors want to see is the strip. The strip is literally a strip of land that houses some of the most luxurious hotels and casinos in all of Las Vegas. Most of these hotels also offer their own nightly shows, so there’s definitely something for everyone in Las Vegas.

Keep in mind that Las Vegas tourist attractions are just that – a big hit with tourists. So these spots will be busy during high travel seasons (summer and early fall). But then again, the Vegas crowd is all part of the exciting atmosphere of Las Vegas. Early spring is typically a nice time to visit because the weather isn’t too hot, and if you prefer traveling during a less crowded time, there aren’t many long weekends on the calendar, so there aren’t as many tourists.

Regardless of when you visit, Las Vegas attractions are wondrous and well worth the trip. You can, of course, spend your entire trip sitting at the slot machines, but remember all of the other Las Vegas tourist attractions that await you! And if you happen to win big on the slots, definitely use some of that money to see everything else that Las Vegas has to offer – health and fitness expos, an unmatched night scene and lots of other activities unique to Vegas.
