My Experience Of A Day Trip To Paris

The world we now live in really couldn't be better. It only takes a few hours to get from London to Paris by train. When you travel on a plane, you spend half your day going to and from the airport; it really is far more convenient to travel by train.

The great thing about visiting Paris by rail is that there is no time wasted. It is also nice to see the French countryside speed by while travelling on these express trains I loved every second of it.

I had about eight hours in Paris. This may not seem like a long time but it was more than enough for just a day trip. Not only did I go to see the Eiffel Tower, but I had a beautiful lunch and spent a couple of hours just strolling around the city. I did all this and was still able to get back to my own bed in Wimbledon that night. The other nice thing was that it wasn't even that expensive; I would normally spend that amount of money in the pub on Saturdays. In fact I am thinking of taking trips like this more often because I really enjoyed it so much. Maybe take a day trip to Paris once a month get to really know the city.

I really would recommend that everyone try their best to take a day trip like this. You may think that it is all too rushed and that you will need more time but it is not like that at all. Most of us would think nothing of going to another UK city for the day and coming back; football fans do it every week. Getting to Paris does not take any longer than it does to many other cities in the UK but there is just something nicer about going to another country for the day. It really is something new and is better than just doing the same thing week in week out.

Today, more and more families are taking the car and driving to their holiday destination abroad. Many people drive down and catch the ferry to france. This often saves worrying about driving through the tunnel and worrying about disneyland paris tickets. And what better way to get to France for some city breaks europe?
