There comes the rainy season and other type of bad weather that will not permit kids to play outdoors and they must stay inside. Kids love to help cook and you can turn their time off from school and bad weather days into a dress up event like a tea party for the smaller kids and have snacks and other delights for them to enjoy.

Board games are always fun and kids like playing games like cards, scrabble and dominoes with the adults. It is a fun activity that can be done indoors and is a great way to spend time together.

When all the activities have been done you can get the kids to come up with their own ideas for what to do on a rainy day by making an idea box and have them write down their ideas on a rolled up piece of paper for the next rainy day activities that they can take turns picking out.
