The things we learn in childhood stay with us. When I first learned about manifesting with the law of attraction, I wondered if I could use it to attract more money. After all, I definitely needed more money. As far as I was concerned, living a life of abundance included material and financial wealth.

But I wondered about the old sayings from childhood, that somehow money is bad. I realized my feelings about wealth and having a lot of money needed to change.

Money is not bad. Think about it-it's just paper. It is what is done with money that can be judged bad or good.

1. If I had all the money I needed, I could pay off all my bills and debts. That would be a huge pressure off my back. I could even sleep better at night, not worry about bill collectors calling. Erasing my debt would feel so good!

2. If I was wealthy, I would not be a slave to my job. I would not be in a state of panic every time I hear about the company downsizing again. If I had all the money I needed and I lost my job, I know my family and I would be alright.

3. If I had all the money I needed, I could help out my elderly parents and struggling siblings. I could do good for them and make their lives easier. That would feel fantastic!

4. If I had all the money I needed, I would have more free time. I could sit and relax with my kids, or take them to a nice dinner, or go on a trip with my family. I could do all this because if I had wealth, I would have the time to do this because I would no longer be a slave to my job. No more weekends or overtime for me. Now that would feel awesome!

5. If I had all the money I needed, I could support the causes that are important to me. I could donate money and time to my favorite charities and not worry that somehow I was leaving my family short. Now that would truly be a blessing!
