Having questions regarding personal image and how you view yourself, which also adds to being aloof, are both symptoms of the borderline personality disorder. The major patients who feel these symptoms are mostly those who are on their teens, because they are impulsive and are not aware of their actions too. Citing the disorder on a lot of prospects may be hard to achieve especially since most teens surpasses through the same stage.

This disorder usually occurs in the teenage years or early adulthood but the unstable sample of interacting with others must have carried on for years. These results are often obtained from a lack of self-understanding and being able to relate with others as well. This kind of disorder would often be obtained by having to experience negative emotions at home or when surrounding with public people.

Some patients often deal with issues such as ***, reckless driving, overspending, and more issues of the same sort. Some also feel so empty inside that they get to be desperate on making efforts to avoid such emotions. A pattern of having uncontrollable need to find an image for one's self through finding a role model is also one of the few things that a lost teenager is mostly to acquire.

Aside from all the factors that are implied on teenagers having the said disorder, they are also very intense with their emotions. Since patients having such disorder are irritated easily, they also get mad easily. Some teenagers also think too much that overlaps reality, and they would also result to suicide as the easiest and fastest solution to the problem.

It was found that 75% of the total numbers of patients having borderline personality disorder are women. In approximation, America has also been suffering with such disorder. Since this disorder is often related to psychological concepts, a trained mental health professional is the one capable of extracting those that encompasses the disorder.

This sickness is often present to patients who are having mood swings often times, and are always impulsive on the different events happening to their lives. However, with any personality disorder, no one under the age of 18 can be diagnosed. Some has also developed earlier stages of the disorder and even younger than 18 yrs old are not totally exempted.

Patients of borderline personality disorder are often experiencing mistreatment from family, or those that should take care of them, but are rather doing likewise. Since children are very exposed to how their parents behave, those that have parents who are into substance abuse and are always having depression breakdowns may also influence their children which would then result to have the disorder. Some claim that biological risk factors such as genetic components can be a cause of the disorder as well.

Positive upbringing should then be implemented to diminish the appearance of the disorder especially if there are genetic issues present. Make sure that your child will be raised up on a healthier and positive environment where he or she will grow nurtured. It is always necessary to have your child guided with his or her intellectual, emotional, and physical growth.

You may still cure such disorder by going to therapists who excels in curing the disorder. It is quite a sad fact to have few researches done on the borderline personality disorder and the more scientific approach for treatments. The prescriptions given by doctors are taken to slow down the symptoms of the disorder, but it doesn't assure total treatment.

If adults are having a hard time finding the best solution for treatment, younger adults are even having much more harder time on these one. Most of the teenagers are really aloof and incapable of expressing their real emotions, and sometimes these characteristics are already mixed up with the symptoms that the disorder carries. You need not worry about the patient's condition since therapists have gained enough knowledge in finding great support systems that will help the patient.
