Our feet are the most used part of our body. We use everyday in almost everything that we do. One of the most common problems we experience is having sore feet. Having sore feet can make the simple things such as walking and standing difficult to do. Also, this can be a symptom of a more complex health condition such as plantar fasciitis or bunions. Feet sore can be felt in almost all of the parts of the feet such as the toes, heel, or arch.

You are experiencing foot sore if your foot aches after standing for a long period of time. Also, if your feet hurt while you are walking, when you wake up in the morning, or if it throbs constantly then your feet must be sore. Other symptoms include the following:

Red feet
Experiencing dull pain
Experiencing difficulty in wearing footwear
Pain in the ankles, hips, knees, or back

There a re a lot of causes of sore feet and it range from simple to complicated health problems. For the simple part, foot sore is caused by the overuse of the feet, usage of improper footwear, or a new pair of footwear. It also includes aging, being overweight, undergoing pregnancy, having foot trauma or injury, and having flat feet.

If you have a fractured or broken foot, a sprained or strained ankle, and arthritis then it can also be a cause for foot soar. Other causes also include bunions, tumor in the bone, athlete's foot, gout, foot ulcer, and plantar fasciitis. Having diabetes, nerve entrapment, and tarsal tunnel syndrome a re also few of the complex reasons for foot sore.

There are still a lot of reasons for foot sore and it is advised that you visit a podiatrist for more information regarding on your foot condition. In diagnosing, your doctor will have to ask questions regarding what you are experiencing, where you feel the sore, and how severe do feel the sore or pain. Also, your daily routines will also be asked because this may be the cause of your foot sore.

Also, you will have to undergo some physical examination and some imaging tests such as x-ray to find out if you have been fractured or sprained. Blood testing will also be done to check if you have diabetes.

Some of the common treatments for sore feet are orthotics shoe inserts, massage, stretching exercise, and weight loss. You can also soak it in warm water and by drinking vitamins and supplements.
