Back when I was a younger things were a lot simpler when it came to playing and buying FPS Games. You twiddled your thumbs waiting for the latest installment Quake to hit the shelves and get to the shops to grab a copy. These days times have changed with so many big releases hitting the shelves month after month the decessions are never ending. But are you going to buy a Shooter game when can just pick 1 up for free? Here are 3 top reasons that make me want to never play for a FPS game again!

First: Can I try first please?

On how many occasions have you gone out and purchased a mmo, tested it for a while and never touched it again? Talking about myself here I can honestly say I have done this more times than I would like to remember or would want to cause it would just make me drop down in tears thinking of the money I have wasted! The biggest beauty with free mmos is that the only thing you would be throwing away is time and some HD space while you decide whether or not to keep enjoying it.

Gone are the years where £40 mmo becomes nothing more than a fancy coffee mat or new Frisbee for the dog! Say good bye to the days of rolling yourself out of bed at the crack of dawn on release day to get yourself down to the shop in time to secure a copy. Just sign up. Hit the download key and return back after an hour to ready to install Free FPS mmo.

Second: Pay for what you get right?

Urban Myth! In my experience with these free fps titles the quality has always been Excellent. I would go as far to say that there right on par with the paid games to! The graphics are incredible, pushing the limits with other top paid shooters. a top example for you would be Global Agenda. This title has been built with the same 3D engine that is the muscle behind Quake (Unreal 3D engine 3) and is also a lot of fun to! Quake price is? Global Agenda costs nothing!

Quality of the servers is also something else to note. I have lost count how many times I have had to quit a server in Call of Duty due to it being badly taken over with bad latency. A player jumping from one end of screen to the other and it's not just me either, just reading the in game chat you can see its affecting the whole server. Recently I have been enticed by a F2P game named Combat in Arms. Within this free fps title I can honestly say server latency hasn't been a problem. Ofcause there are times but for the majority of the time I am content in the fact that the game runs like it was on rails, even when playing it on my slugish laptop.

Third: Always more content in paid!

Do you think paid mmos have more content? Or at least you would guess so since you're paying dollars for it. I would say that paid games do have a lot more single player content than a free fps game. The free mmos tend to focus solely on PvP aspect of first-person shooter.

But is there content as large as a paid game?

Definitely and more. Just for an example for you, there is a free FPS mmo named Operation 7 and has over 17 different maps and 5 different gaming modes to choose from and has updates coming out all the time. Titles such as Combat in Arms have a massive 300+ armoury of weapons to pick from. Yes some of these do involve micro-transactions but they got to keep the servers going right?
