Put some drops of tea tree oil on the sterile cotton; afterwards, rub it on the skin tag itself including the immediate surrounding area. Using the medical tape, tape the region with cotton soaked with tea tree oil. Doing so will ensure better and immediate results. This process can be repeated again after several hours. Do this several times during the day. It can be repeated several times until the skin tag visible withers and flakes off the skin. It will be less painful if you let it fall off by itself.
Use of duct tapes for removal of skin tags.
The duct tape is cut in the form of squares of equal size. This is used to cover the skin tag. Slowly peel the duct tape off your skin once you feel the skin tag becoming loose. Pulling it off quickly and drastically could cause some bleeding. It takes around two to three days for the tape to become loose. The skin tag area can be covered with bandage for at least one day. You can expect to feel some soreness around the area that will last for one or two days.
