London is often being regard as one of the worlds greatest cities,London is a vast, vibrant city with a wealth of sight-seeing opportunities. London has the finest tea, quaint bookshops, markets, antiques, and more. At night, enjoy cuisine from every region of the world, as well as top-notch plays, musicals, concerts, nightclubs - and of course classic English pubs.

Despite its multinational mish-mash of culture, London is an atypical British city. London is characterized by its black cabs, red telephone boxes and castles. Of course, there is the famous symbolic double-decker bus.

There is plenty … read more of Britain's symbolic sites residing right in London. Of all, the Buckingham Palace, this requires an invite from the Queen and its closed to the public. Not forgetting the London Bridge. Wander boggle-eyed around the interior of the Houses of Parliament (democracy's occupation permitting), or get a skyline overview of the whole city from atop the slowly rotating big wheel that is the London Eye.

The great draws of London are their museums. There are legions of them. One of the best ones - like the Science Museum and the National History Museum does not require fee-entrance. These museums not only tell the stories of the United Kingdom but also of a host of international cultures, achievements and key historical ideas that are spectacularly laid out in their vast hallways and chambers. At the other end of the spectrum, a football match in North London or watching flamboyant Chelsea in their millionaires' hideaway is perhaps the best taste of the passion of modern day Londoners.

About the nightlife in London, a night out in London offers more than theatre, pubs, and clubs, but an all inclusive list would take a night out just to read it all.

When it comes to live music, theater, pubs and clubs, London compares favorably with any city in the world. Other theatrical productions include a show by The Blue Man Group at the New London Theater. If you like clubs and can do without dining there are numerous clubs for nearly every musical genre. If you're a hip-hop fan, Vibe Bar, or Plan B may suit you. Indie Pop fans will like Club Silver at Underworld. Retro pop is available at Pump up the Volume at Underworld. Jazz fans will enjoy Ronnie Scott's, House Music, Techno, Jazz, Swing, and Funk music can all be found along with virtually any other type of music at clubs in London.

The really good restaurants are the ones you can't get into, unless you enjoy sitting down to dinner at midnight on a Tuesday. Gordon Ramsay's at Claridge's recently completed some renovations. Good luck getting inside to see them. It is the only restaurant in London to achieve three of the coveted Michelin stars, and is considered by some to be one of the top five restaurants in the world. Other London restaurants with Michelin stars are, The Greenhouse, Hakkasan, and Locanda Locatelli.

Whether your night out in London, will have you eating, drinking, or seeing a show, you should have an easy time finding the perfect spot for you.
