Ergonomics refers to work and an employee's relationship to work. Implementation of the science of ergonomics means incorporating the use of such furniture or interiors that puts the employee in a comfortable position to come up with the best outcomes possible. Ergonomic chairs serve as the perfect example. These types of chairs are designed to provide comfort and lumbar support to individuals who work for long hours sitting in the same posture. Moreover, ergonomic chairs are an excellent investment that takes care of the health of employees during work. Absenteeism is also expected to decrease with the employees working healthy and reporting fewer days off due to injuries such as back pain and neck injuries.
