There aren’t too many things that can be as annoying as a bad dog scent whether its in an apartment, home, or a car. Fibers in carpeting and upholstery not only absorb the odor, they hold it once it has gotten in there. And all the carpet cleaning, deodorizing, and upholstery cleaning wont do much more than temporarily cover up the odor. And nothing is more offensive than walking into another apartment or house, or sitting in a vehicle, that smells that bad except if you yourself get that smell on your clothing from contacting tainted fibers. Then you have to live with it until you shower and change.

So what is the solution? Pet odor removers don’t get rid of the smell. Most aerosol deodorants only mask it. Believe it or not, there is a viable solution colognes and perfumes that are designed for dogs. That’s right. These are actually on the market in case you weren’t aware of their availability. It is true that over time, dogs and their masters may come to look like one another. However, at least you do not have to smell like the dog, and a good canine cologne or perfume is definitely the answer.

Interestingly enough, it is not a small segment of the cologne and perfume industry that is getting involved in this endeavor. They are beginning, in larger than anticipated numbers, to cater more and more to the most sensitive sniffers out there the canine. Additionally, you can freshen up the dog up anytime you want. Whether taken the dog for an afternoon jog with you in the park, or if you just want them smelling fresh in the house, there is most likely a cologne or perfume on the market that both you and your pet will enjoy.

Where good grooming is the order of the day, canine cologne or perfume should be a part of that regimen. Despite taking them to the groomer for a wash and cut, this is not enough to keep Fido’s or Fifis body odor at bay. So, a little spritz of their favorite sent is definitely the ticket. What you need to realize is that the onset of dog colognes and perfumes have taken the concept of grooming you pet to the next level.

Additionally, they are continually evolving and getting improved upon all the time so much so that these scents are considered just as important a canine accessory now as that designer outfit or that diamond studded collar. Its also common knowledge that the way you dress and pamper that pooch is a direct reflection on yourself and your own personal stylish tastes.

You can also find grooming spritzes on the market as well, which were designed to be applied after they have been bathed and coiffed. So the bottom line is that if you are into colognes or perfumes for yourself, you can also purchase these for your dog.
