Body building techniques are generally the training plans that are put in place in order to increase one's muscle mass. These techniques help in breaking monotony while exercising and give room for growth by alternating the tissue growth and tissue repair as well. These activities also enable one to get a lean body. It is advisable that one changes the body building techniques frequently in order to avoid monotony among others. There are several body building techniques that one can be involved in so as to build muscle mass and attain the best results. Some of the techniques include the drop sets, strip sets and super sets among others.

Drop sets is one of the body building techniques where one does the exercises with a set of dumb bells by lifting them and putting them down one by one continuously. This technique varies in quite a number of ways such as, lifting the dumb bells on pause basis among others. Another technique is using the strip sets which involve one or two plates that are put and removed repeatedly for as long as you can. This technique forces the muscles to produce more muscle fibers. The stripping method is not best at the beginning of the exercise when one is still strong and fresh though it is advisable to be used during the last set.

When one is involved in body building program, the changes in body weight are very crucial and are supposed to be attained quickly in order to prevent the muscles from replicating. Stripping method requires that you go for the average weights not too heavy ones or too low weights as they will not enable you to grow. The super set is another body building technique that involves more than one exercise and it is conducted in a row continuously. This is a good technique that one can use in training two different parts of the body.

Lifting the weights by the use of contractile force of the muscles performs a positive movement and when the weight is lowered, a negative movement is performed. The negative movements exert more stress on supportive structures than it does to the muscles. This is advantageous because it allows the tendons to increase with the strength from the muscles. It is recommended for one to reduce the weights slowly while taking control instead of letting them drop. The negative forces are the best because they add strength to the weak muscles.

Isotension is another body building techniques that is done when carrying out the body building exercises and during the rest period between the sets. One is advised to flex and contract the muscles that are being trained in order to keep them pumped and become ready for more actions. Another technique is forced reps which is about working the muscles to failure. It entails highly increased weights to failure. Another important technique is known as twenty ones that is based on the number of reps that are done in a given single set. This kind of exercise is done continuously with average rest in between the sets.
