He simply roughens up all the teeth a little, without sawing them down, so they can have something bond to them. Upon doing this he will create porcelain veneers that have the exact look and color of your preference.
These porcelain veneers are then attached to each tooth. This way they can give you two benefits in beautifying your teeth and acting as an extra layer of enamel to protect your teeth.
Because cosmetic dentistry involves so much design it is important you get a dentist you know will do a good job. Every dentist can be a cosmetic dentist, but not every single one should because it requires an artistic eye.
When you want to get some cosmetic dentistry performed on your own mouth you should seek out referrals and look to portfolios of past work. When you walk into a cosmetic dentist's office he should have a portfolio full of past work he has done.
When you are comfortable with what the dentist can do, that is when you can feel confident in seeking out his or her help. This way you can feel better about and perfect your smile. |
