When it comes to water damage, this can be a very bad thing to have to go through. If you are a child, you may just be amazed over the big flood that has happened outside. Through a child's floods can be neat looking, however, through an adult perspective, water damage is very stressful. If you have recently been through water damage, then you should know that you are not alone in this world.

If a bad flood has taken place in your area, it can completely ruin your home or office building. Not only will water damage ruin structures, but it can also ruin important memories such as photo albums, old letters from friends, yearbooks and more. We know from first hand experience of how dangerous water damages can be. This is because we have lived in south Florida for many years. In fact, I grew up in south Florida. I will always remember the big flood in south Florida that took place when I was a teenager.

The truth is, when I was a teenager and the big flood took place, I was not worried about the water damage that the house had went through. All I could think about is how cool it looked outside. This is because outside appeared to be one big lake, cars, trees and buildings were underwater. Have you ever seen floods on your world news? Well, that is a lot like what Florida looked like years ago. When these floods took place, I could not get over of how neat it looked outside. While my parents were busy worrying about their house, I was busy being in amazement.

Now that I have grown up and am no longer a teenager, I can now fully grasp the understanding of water damage. I must say, water damage is not a fun thing and I feel bad for what my parents had to go through back then. The water had completely damaged our house. They had to get new flooring put in and rebuild part of the structure because the water damage was just too bad. As for the memories such as old letters and all that, they are all in my head. This is because everything in the house was completely damaged and washed away. Now that I think back to those days I feel really sad but I am happy that I had a family who did all they could do to restore the lives back to normal.

I still live in south Florida where hurricanes continue to hit but so far, I have not seen a flood as bad as I seen when I was a teenager. Chances are, if a flood takes place like that again, I will be in my parents' shoes. I will be the one worrying about the water damage my car, house and office has sustained. As for my kids, they will be in my shoes, gawking over how neat it looks outside and that is just fine.
