It is a fact that children in urban areas have more risks of being shortsighted than those in rural area. The possible reason for this fact is that the children use modern technology equipments such as computer at the too early ages. They are always in lack of physical exercises such as outdoor activities; instead, they sit in front of the computer almost the time at home. They must have time to breathe the fresh air outside, enjoy the light sun sight in the morning and do exercises in the evening. However, in some cases, computer takes a lot of their time. This situation is definitely bad for their physical health and mental development.<br /> <br /> The second negative point the children have from using computer everyday is their education. When a child becomes an addicted game player on the computer, it seems to be difficult for him to leave the computer and take time to do other work. Therefore, time for studying will be replaced by many clicks and touches on the mouse and keyboard. This even becomes bad when the children are not under the control of parents, the parents do not know exactly what their children are doing on computers, studying or playing. When online games on the virtual world have the huge attraction, children tends to skip classes, play truant, incomplete homework then they are not allowed to sit the exam. Eventually, their education quality not only standstills but also it is also on the way down.<br /> <br /> Finally, when using a computer everyday becomes a regular habit of the children, they will be in shortage of family relationship and social communication. Many mothers have complained that their children spend more time with the computer than with them. They are stick to the screen whenever they come back home from schools. Additionally, the lure of computer also causes the lack of social communication among children. The image of many children gathering in one place to play exciting activities will become less common, instead of them are chatting in the virtual world and playing online games.
