Because the minis are so low in price, they are capturing an increasing proportion of the market in 1st world countries as well. The number of models are increasing in the marketplace, so more competition helps to keep the prices down, while allowing more customers to buy.<br /> <br /> Netbooks are expected to remain at competitive prices due to continued popularity. Many individuals can afford minis where higher priced models would not be affordable.
