| I love the ideas. I also like the quality time with the kids. Go for walks, picnics, play sports in the yard. Do lots of things with your children- this is what they will remember!

Those are good ideas. Another would be as a parent just taking the time to do something with them. Parents don't spend enough quality time just hanging out with their kids, they think they have to keep them busy.

| If your kids are stuck in front of the TV because of the rain, it's time to get creative! Kids love to paint, colour, play with playdough; you can help them make their own bowling game with empty yogurt containers (the sort you drink out of) and a ball made with papier mache (or even a golf ball); be inventive and the kids will love you for this; don't forget to set some time aside everyday to play with them because you need a break too!
