This is not going to end anytime soon. Banks are starting to feel the pressure and two banks folded during the last three days. There is beginning to be a rush on banks like what happened during the 30's. People are afraid they are going to lose all their money even though their money is insured for up to $100,000. A bank a block away from me was one of the banks that fell yesterday and I was actually thinking of opening up an account with them. I'm glad I didn't.
Also, the last time I heard the stock market was falling today because of the mortgage situation and the run on banks. Do you think there will be a major crash soon?

I don't see the trend happening in my area, here in Ontario.
But I think we're seeing things happen in the US that have never happened before, relating to banking, investments and real estate.
One thing we do have in common here is the price of gas and the unfortunate auto plant closures.

When is this ever escalating number going to start balancing out? It seems to be hitting hard everywhere. Are you currently facing foreclosure or are you seeing it widespread throughout your community? Tell me your thoughts on the housing crisis.
